Who publishes Yacht.it, who writes it, and how we work.

What Yacht.it publishes

Yacht.it is an editorial publication about yachts, the shipyards that build them and the Mediterranean coast. We cover charter, new launches, marinas and port infrastructure, cruising and anchoring rules, and the places that matter to people who travel by sea.

We work from official sources. When a shipyard, a broker, a port authority or a government body publishes information, we go to that source and name it. When we rely on the nautical press, we name the publication. We do not publish rumour as fact.

Every article carries a visible publication date and a named writer. When a story develops, we update the same page rather than publishing a second version.

The writers

Yacht.it is written by three desks. Each writer has a page listing everything they have published.

Lorenzo Vitale

Yacht Notes

Lorenzo writes about yachts and the shipyards behind them, from open dayboats to superyachts, with a particular eye on the Italian yards that lead the industry.

Elena Marchetti

Destinations

Elena covers the Mediterranean coast, from Costa Smeralda and the Amalfi Coast to the islands and shores beyond, always with an eye for how a place is best experienced by sea.

Tommaso Greco

Italian Yachts

Tommaso follows the shipyards, especially the Italian yards that lead the market, and what their launches mean for charter across the Mediterranean.

If you believe we have published something inaccurate, tell us and we will look at it. Write to editorial (at) yacht.it with the title of the article and what you believe is wrong. Where we have made a factual error we correct it on the same page and say what changed.
