Amalfi Coast
Amalfi Coast Yacht Charter
One of the most iconic yacht charter destinations in Italy. From the water, the coastline becomes easier, more elegant and far more enjoyable.
Why the Amalfi Coast
Positano looks better from a tender
A private yacht charter along the Amalfi Coast can connect Capri, Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Ischia, Procida and Nerano without forcing the trip to revolve around roads, taxis and crowded transfers. The best days are simple: a slow morning on deck, a swim before lunch, a tender ride ashore and a coastline that keeps changing without needing to move too far.
The Amalfi Coast is perfect for guests who want Italy at its most recognisable: cliffs, sea, terraces, restaurants, beach clubs, hotel bars, old towns and cinematic views. A yacht makes the area feel less crowded. You can approach Capri early, see Positano from the sea, stop near Nerano for lunch and build the day around your own timing.
For first-time yacht guests, Amalfi is one of the easiest Italian routes to understand, because the distances are relatively short and the names are familiar.
Best routes
From a single day to a full week
Sorrento, Capri, Positano
Swim stops, the Faraglioni, lunch by the water and a slow cruise back before the evening.
Naples, Ischia, Capri
Two or three days that link the islands without turning the trip into a checklist.
Procida to Nerano
From Naples or Sorrento through Procida, Ischia, Capri, Positano, Amalfi and the quieter anchorages.
Choosing the yacht
The right boat for the day
For a one-day Capri or Positano trip, a stylish open yacht or classic Italian day boat is often enough. For multi-day charters, a crewed motor yacht is usually stronger because it gives more space, shade, cabin comfort and service.
For high-season luxury requests, a larger yacht can make the experience smoother, but berth planning and realistic routing matter.
Good to know
Frequently asked
Yes. Positano to Capri is one of the classic private day charter routes on the Amalfi Coast.
Both work. A day charter is ideal for Capri, Positano or Ischia. A weekly charter allows a slower itinerary including Procida, Nerano, Amalfi and more time at anchor.
Late spring, summer and early autumn are the main periods. July and August are the busiest. May, June, September and early October can feel more balanced.
Naples, Sorrento, Salerno, Capri, Positano and Amalfi can all work depending on yacht availability and route.
